First, there was no parking! The parking lot is half full of construction trucks and equipment, so we had to park pretty far from an entrance and elevator. The hotel is very old. It looks like a run down Quality Inn. We needed to set up the sofa bed. The front desk had a sheet and light blanket (not in the room) but no pillows. Three pillows total in a premium suite. I walked to the lobby and the floors are all dirty. Construction started in the early morning and it was so loud we couldn't even talk on the phone. There was NO hot water on our 3rd day - from 6am until evening. This hotel is a total dump. Homewood should be embarrassed to have their name on it. I've already moved our next stay in April to the nearby Embassy Suites.

At first, when we reached at 10 pm from Pennsylvania with family and having a kid, the front desk said we dont have rooms to give you at present whereas we had our reservation done in advance and paid all money and everything else required. We were shocked to hear that. We started telling the reception person that how is it possible and how can u say that the hotel has no room available to stay in. When we checked in the website, still the hotel was showing available rooms. We were so tired and disappointed with them that didn’t know what to do and whom to say as there was no one. Fortunately, there was a man behind us and was waiting in the queue for us to finish and was hearing all the conversations we were having with the receptionist. He intervened and asked the hotel person to check for his room if its available or not. Also he told the person that this is a genuine case and we have a point and how can the hotel deny our room when we have booked it in advance. It was so sweet of that man that he gave away his room to us and he booked another room for himself in another hotel. All thanks to him.And told the receptionist to take this matter up with the higher authorities. And then we could check in. Please be aware of such circumstances.

Tired. They say they are renovating but there doesn't seem to be much work being done. Also, although the airport is a few miles away, you can still hear the planes roar down the runway. I know it's an airport hotel so I wasn't shocked by this but be aware that it's not noise free.
Staff seems uninterested in their jobs. Usually when you walk into a hotel, if the staff is there they'll at least say hello to you. Here they didn't even look up from their console to acknowledge you. Made me feel that my stay with them was not valued.
On the plus side, parking was easy.
Overall, there are better places to stay close by where the location is similar but the hotel and service is better.

As a Diamond level Honors member, I was truly shocked at the poor condition of this Hilton property. No acknowledgement as an honors member at check in and I had to ask for a bottle of water. On the way to my room, the dirty and worn out condition of the elevator and hallways made me wonder what my room would be like. I was equally disappointed! See the attached photos. A/C didn't work (it was unusually warm for January) and when I told the desk attendant, he offered to relocate me to a different room. I appreciated that but it was after midnight and my family was already in bed so we just stayed in that room. What really made me leave this review was how truly "worn out" this hotel is. Furniture in terrible shape, paint peeling off the walls, sticky TV remote, and "who knows what" stain on the table. I really hope Hilton takes a hard look at this property and decide if they really want their name on the sign outside!
