These guys are amazing. Always listen to requests when they can and the food is wonderful. The yellow curry is some of the best we’ve ever had if not the best. Wonderful service and food thank you!!

So good. Each dish, I got the number 13 lunch special with the duck and with the veggie spring roll. I also ordered the shrimp lemon grass soup! All of it was super flavorful, well prepared, just excellent!

Delicious!!! This is THE spot for Thai cuisine in Herndon. Out for dinner? Well, dine-in at Chao Phra YA Thai and experience the lively atmosphere. Not sure what to order?Friendly and engaging staff give good recommendations. Then they serve up platters swirling in the most exciting aromas and yummy flavors. I wish someone had told me to save room for dessert BEFORE the meal. That's ok, though. When I visit again, I'm going back there!

Best Thai in the area. I've eaten at almost every local Thai restaurant and Chao Phra YA always has better food and larger portions than the others. You really can't go wrong with them. Also the staff is very kind! I couldn't recommend any other place over here for lunch or dinner. Update: It's been 8 months and I'm still absolutely hooked! Their food is still fantastic, easily the best thai in the area. I haven't been very satisfied with the quality of restaurants in the Herndon/Sterling area but Chao Phra YA has ALWAYS been fantastic. I haven't had a long wait in a while, but it still does happen occasionally. Especially on busy days like Friday nights. I cannot recommend it enough!

We just tried this place and the food is super delicious. We tried the Chicken Satay, Seafood Pad Cha, and Beef Drunken Noodles, and every dish was delicious. The service is also very good. A must-try Thai restaurant.
